For Carpet Cleaning in Issaquah, steam clean your rugs and achieve utopian results with the platonic ideal of eye-popping rugs closely realized. The Steamway* equipment we use was recently reviewed by TruckmountForums.com as The Top carpet cleaning truckmount in the industry. Maintaining a constant kerosene powered 210 degrees, no other machine consistantly produces this kind of heat. Avoid "tankless systems," "encapsulation cleaning," and other "Dry" systems which may appear to have a cheaper price tag. What are you really getting? In the end, nothing cleans like steam. At Anderson Carpet Cleaning Inc™ we use state of the art truck-mounted steam cleaning equipment for triumphant results and fast dry times.

*Steamway Note: Steamway quit making truckmounted carpet cleaning units a few years back. The company didn't make it through the 2007 financial meldown (except it's chemical supply unit). However, some of it's employees started their own company and began making truckmounted equipment that uses the same technology as the Steamway equipment with only some insignificant modifications. The Truckmount forums website actually refers to this new machine and not the Steamway equipment I have, but it's essentially the same machine. I like the architectural design of the Steamway machine better than the new model. My mechanic can still get parts for the Steamway units. So, when I get new machines, I get used Steamway equipment and replace the main components (engine, blower, water pump, boiler, generator). As a side note, in terms of power, a truckmount can be rated in 3 categories 1) heat, 2) water pressure at wand, and 3) vaccuum pressure which affects dry time.
In the first category (heat), because of the kerosene powered heating system, Steaway units can easily clean at 280 degrees just by turning the temperature control up. But, I find this kind of heat unnecessary and it wears out the quick connects and seals in the pressure lines too fast. 210 is just about right. Other manufacters struggle to maintain even this kind of heat sometimes peaking at 210 but usually running around 155-160. If you ever see a carpet cleaning machine operating in a driveway and you feel daring, pull over, hop out of your car, look at the temperature gauge on the machine, and see what it reads. If it's a Pro-chem, it's going to be sitting at about 160. That's what I always see (and Pro-chem units are probably 50% of the truckmount market in the Seattle area). If it's a Hydramaster (25% of market), it's going to be probably higher, oscillating between 170 and 195. As for water pressure at the wand, most machines will manage at least 400 psi at the wand with no problem. My machines have a 1500 psi pump, but I dial it down to about 450 psi to be responsible. In the third category (vaccuum), my machines have 25-27 horse power engines, which is larger than most. Some rare truckmounts such as the Genesis and ACE machines have monster 4 liter engines with 50+ h.p. However, the larger engine's extra power is rendered impotent by a restriction in air flow due to the size of the wand at the end of the hose run. I found this out testing an ACE unit a few years back. In order for the larger engine to reduce dry time, I had to use a 2 inch wand to allow the extra airflow. When I used a 1 1/2 inch wand, because of the reduced airflow, I experienced roughly the same dry time as with a 25 hp engine and the hose kept on collapsing getting sucked inward. This meant I had to use a 2 inch hose connected to a heavy 2 inch wand for the cleaning. Significance? Any carpet cleaner doing residential work would be hunched over like the old man on the Four Symbols Led Zeppelin Album carrying sticks on his back. I'd be going through employees like my family goes through Ice Cream. Also, a two inch hose is unmanageable in a residential home. We would be breaking stuff, scraping up walls. It wouldn't be good. Furthermore, I understand these larger 4 liter engines don't handle the shock of driving around roads very well. Apparently, the manifolds on the engines frequently crack, resulting in very expensive repairs and down time, which is why you don't see these machines operational very often. The one I tested, was producing water that was only lukewarm. I pointed this out to the guy who was trying to sell it to me. Later he told me it had a broken heat exchange element and the cost to repair was estimated at about $9000.00. What use is equipment if it keeps breaking down and is too expensive to fix?
**About Yelp Reviews: There are currently 7 reviews that have been posted on Yelp by customers of mine. Six are 5- star reviews and one is a 4-star. However, Yelp has a system that filters out reviews for various reasons which are a mystery to me. The first review posted on Yelp was from a customer in Bellevue a few years ago. At that time, I didn't even know Yelp existed. The review was on there for quite some time and some others showed up too. Last August, I began to pay Yelp for advertising on their site with a increased budget. Soon after, Yelp reviews that were posted began to disappear due supposedly to their filtering program including the first review I had. These reviews seem to appear and dissappear randomly. I didn't mind the 4 star review being filtered too much even though it was quite positive, but the others' disappearance is simply frustrating. One customer in Bellevue found my business on Yelp, used my service, and then posted a review. Three weeks later, I saw it had been filtered out. These reviews can still be viewed on Yelp, but they are in a section on my profile page titled, "filtered." I don't know what to make of this, but I can assure you these reviews are all authentic and Yelp's "filtering" system deletes legitimate unsolicited reviews for reasons that have nothing to do with their authenticity. |

They do a great Job
I've used this company for a number of years and have never been disappointed. My white rugs are over 12 years old and every year Anderson comes out and they look as good as new....and I have a large black dog! They are reliable, efficient, and have great prices! I will continue to use them.

Off-white 16 year old builder's carpet is almost like new again - Steve came out and did the whole house and we couldn't believe how amazing it is. I was ripped off by another company. These folks are awesome, and we'll have him back. You won't be disappointed!

What do you do when you have rented to people who let their dogs turn the home into a dog bed and the carpet is so dirty and the dog smell so bad? You have 2 choices. It's either new carpet, or call Anderson Carpet Cleaning. I was so pleased and I could not believe my eyes.
They have cleaned my home and my clients home. This time I really put them to the test. A+. That being said, they are fast to return calls and quick to schedule, even if you need it done at 7am. As a realtor, I am glad they are on my list to call. I know I can count on them for quality results for a good price. |
